Handmade silver jewelry has fast caught on as an aesthetic form of jewelry and is become famous by all. Silver has a unique status all through history. During ancient times it was crafted by hand. Machines were invented only in the 1800s. Silver jewelry which made by machines was initially found only in the form of small trinkets and chains.

So, with the development of new techniques people started crafting bigger and better pieces of jewelry. In starting days techniques like casting were used to make identical pieces of jewelry in reasonable quantities. According to the US laws jewelry made of silver should not contain at least 92.5% silver and it’s 7.5% is replaced with copper. However there is no legal limit to the amount of silver that goes into making silver plated jewelry. Ornaments are again made by adding other metals like copper. There is need to take some caution while buying such jewelry as there exists costume or junk jewelry that are made in combination with fake stones and tend to bend and lose color with usage.

I need some sort of stamp to put my logo on candles and silver. Would it be some sort of metal stamp? I don't know where to look to find something like this. What is it called and how expensive might it be? I live in Indiana.
